The reported figures refer to new pensions according to SGB VI and the pensions according to Art. 2 of the law regarding pension transfers ("Rentenüberleitungsgesetz") because of diminution of ability to work in the Statutory Pension Insurance, excluding zero pensions and excluding pensions for miners due to completion of 50th year of life.
Since 2001 pensions according to Art. 2 of the law regarding pension transfer (Rentenüberleitungsgesetz) are no longer reported.
